Ningcho (/nɪŋˈ/; Shangean: 寧州; Morwall romanization: ning4 jau1), alternatively romanized as Ning Chow (/nɪŋˈ/), is the most populous city of Nakong and the administrative seat of North Bay County. Located at the south end of North Bay where the Ning River meets the Honghai Sea, Ningcho has been regarded as an important natural harbour since the 5th century and grew rapidly in size following its colonization by Shangean settlers during the Four Kingdoms era. Due to the historical importance of seafaring to Nakong, Ningcho quickly established itself as the pre-eminent city on the island and emerged as a thriving regional hub for maritime trade in southern Coius. Today, Ningcho is the manufacturing and logistical powerhouse of Nakong's export-oriented industrial economy, with the Port of Ningcho and Harold Lam International Airport being respectively the nation's most important conduits of trade and tourism.

Ningcho is a major centre for scientific research in Coius, being home to the largest and most prestigious of Nakong's universities and other institutions of higher learning, including the National University of Nakong, the United Technology University of Nakong, North Bay University, Nakong Normal University, Farnley University and the Mo Ying Military Academy.
