The Northern Fleet is a Naval fleet of the Syaran Commonality Navy. It is responsible for the maritime defense of northern Syara, including the island of Chryse. The fleet was originally stood up in 1988 upon the foundation of the Commonality of Syara and was tasked with naval security of Syara's norther coast. During the Zemplen War, a naval agreement between Ossoria, Cacerta, Ruvelka, and Syara forbade naval operations in the Sundering Sea, and therefore the fleet did not undertake any combat operations during the war.
Northern Fleet Headquarters is located in Sena. The fleet consists of one guided missile cruiser, two air defense destroyers, two guided missile destroyers, four multi-purpose frigates, four anti-submarine warfare frigates, 1 surface warfare frigate, 12 corvettes, and 8 diesel-electric submarines. Northern Fleet coordinates closely with Coastal Defense Command North as part of Realm Force Makedon to ensure the security of northern Syara and safeguard the western mouth of the Sundering Sea.
