The Northumberland, officially the Northumberland Autonomous Region, is and autonomy of the Ambrosian Confederal Republic. One of two autonomies of the Confederal Republic (the other being Brunswick), the Northumberland is contiguous with the historical region of Northumbria, composed of the thanedreds of Northumbria, Tyemara, and Ulfstead. It is administrated from Vicarstown, however the largest city is the port of Farranday.

The autonomy is primarily composed of Northumbrians, a Voragonevanic people that have inhabited the northern coast of modern-day Ambrose since antiquity. (TBC)
