She became known as one of the youngest acclaimed fashion designers in the world when she unveiled her own line of juniors apparel at the age of 14. Due to her status as a member of the Mosoco family, she generally only does design and modeling work for Mosoco and its subsidiaries, though she did appear in the 2015 Escuro Summer Show and has done several photo shoots for fashion designer Cuithbeart Aguiar. While fashion design is her primary focus, Nydia has appeared in several modeling shots and has either stared or been cast on a number of television shows and films. She is often ranked highly by both entertainment and men's entertainment magazines in regards to her appearance, making her one of many Aisling sex symbols.
