The Office of the Prime Minister, unofficially described as the Prime Minister's Office and always abbreviated PMO, is the political arm of the staff housed in Kilburn House, the official residence and primary office of the Prime Minister of the Caldan Union. The staff provides policy advice and political strategy. It should not be confused with the Privy Council Office which is partially housed in Kilburn House and partially in the Gordon Building on the other side of Parliament House. The PMO provides advice informed by the ideology and partisan political concerns of the government. The PCO provides nonpartisan policy advice informed by Civil Service expertise.
