The Pansarvagn 26 or Pnrv 26 is a Lucian Heavy Cruiser tank made in Tenebrae by Kongsberg Arsenal. It was made to compete with Vulcan Foundry on the grounds for a new replacement to the A34 Cruiser Tank and other Cruiser tanks.
First produced in 1943, the Pnrv 26 was fielded to combat against heavy tank threats and being armed with the new 90mm T15 gun, which fired APCR rounds, improving its penetration further. It remained in production until the 1950s when the Centurion was being fielded more and that the newly made 105mm gun could not fit the Pansarvagn 26 and was phased-out. Kongsberg Arsenal developed the Pansarvagn 37 with a redesigned hull and turret to fit the 105mm gun made by Royal Ordnance.
