Pine County is a county in the North Shore region of the state of Hamilton. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 13,923. Its county seat is Pinewood.
Economy
Pine County has historically been dominated by the lumber industry. Both Pinewood and Myersville were orginally established as company towns by the Northern Hamilton Lumber Co. The eastern part of the county contains many former lumber company towns that are now abandoned.
