Pom Han-bi (18 March 1923) was a Joyonghean partisan who was a member of the Special Operations Executive. She is known to carry a stolen Trinh-Hoang 91-13 sniper rifle engraved with a gentiana, and refused to switch to a Lena-Elfield rifle. She would later be enlisted as a member of the Teugbudae before retiring in 1972.

Early life

Partisan life

After the death of her boyfriend, Han-bi joined the partisans to hunt the occupying Quenminese soldiers. In one of her operations, she stole a Trinh-Hoang 91-13 as she killed an unsuspecting sniper. Subsequently, when she rested, she carved a gentiana onto the stock; the gentiana was a flower given by her boyfriend during their first date.

SOE career

She was noticed by the Joyongheans and Commonwealth troops. Seeing her ability to snipe, Han-bi was recommended to the organization. She would later join up with her counterparts, and participate in operations together, several of which were Kim Seung-hyeon (he carries a Vung Cai SB-40), Heo Young-soo, Michael Todd, and John Erick Brennan.
