Greatest extand of the Protectorate inside modern-day Calpullali

The Protectorate of the Eastern Regions was an imperial administration imposed by the Tae Kaew empire on a collection of coastal and islandic kingdoms of modern day Calpullali. It's main goal was to protect these states against the growing Azcapotzalco Tlatholoyan and to ensure the supply of the Tae Kaew with exotic goods produced only in Nepantia such as spices, peppers, chocolate, and precious gems. The head office was located in the port-city of Dokmatharai, modern day Xochixalli, a Tae trade post that had grown into a full fledged urban center. At its height, it included the kingdoms of Kuzshkatan, Yzalko, Nonwalko, Mazawatan, Me'phaa, Tuxpan, Cempoala, Yucu Dzaa, and Nguie Ngola. It lasted a quarter of century, between 1501 and 1526, before collapsing as a result of the successive revolts of its tributary kingdoms, who no longer felt that the protection of the Thae was beneficial after the Teltetzaltin Plague started to ravage both them and Azcapotzalco. Dokmatharai remained as a city-state and trade hub, still under Tae governorship until the collapse of the Tae Kaew in 1589 at which point it gained its independence.
