Qhiris is an aquatic planet located in the Outer Band of the Talin Galaxy. The native sentient species of Qhiris are the Qhircik, whose culture dominates the planet. Located near several important overspace routes, interstellar trade has made Qhiris one of the Galactic Union's most prominent planets for its expansive underwater industrial and mining facilities. Ruled by a monarchy, the Qhiris culture matriarchal and hive-like in a caste-based system separated by positions that include drones, warriors, middle, and elites. Qhirciks are born into hives with each led by a queen. The queen lays eggs for the hive, and provide orders to the public leaders of the planet.
