Rød Sol is a Normarkian professional football club based in Brekket, Brekket that plays in the Elitetoppen, the highest tier in normarkian football. The team, nicknamed red suns, was founded in 1888 as Brekket IS, the first professional football team in the city of Brekket. The team was one of the original eight teams that created the first national normarkian league in 1929, in which they joined the highest tier. They have won the normarkian championship 16 times, making it the second most successfull normarkian team of all time, only behing Oskarsviik FC. With two titles and a few podiums, they are the most successful club in the history of the NFC Champions Cup, together with the Besmenian team FC Schwarz-Weiß Melmingen.
