Triumphant Thunder was a Lira-class destroyer of the Navy of the Syaran Republic. Along with the rest of her class she was intended to replace the Slocova-class destroyers as very fast destroyers intended to support the fast battleships of the Syaran fleet. Triumphant Thunder entered service in 1931 and served until 1935.
Upon the outbreak of the Siduri War she was assigned to the Sundering Fleet and served in the Sundering Sea Campaign before being trasnferred to the Mansuri Front where she sank three Mansuri ships, which includeded torpedoing a heavily damaged light cruiser. She took part in minor skirmishes with the Cacertian Andria Fleet before taking part in Operation Scylla, which led to the Battle of the Sabri Sea in late November 1935. As part of Psi Cluster Triumphant Thunder engaged elements of the Andria Fleet and was heavily damaged from shellfire by the Fleet's battleships and heavy cruisers.
By the time the order to retreat was given, Triumphant Thunder was listing six degrees to port, had lost all but one of her 138.6mm turrets, and was leaking oil. Damage to her turbines meant the normally fast destroyer could only manage 15 knots, and by 11:30 on 24 November it was clear the destroyer would be unable to keep up with the rest of the withdrawing Syaran fleet, which was being pursued by 28 Cacertian battleships and cruisers. At noon she came about after discharging her mines and steamed towards the Cacertian fleet, opening fire with its sole operational main gun. Gunfire from the Lisa Firavanti struck the already mauled destroyer, and she went down with all hands.
