Redbrook Armoury is a Oderran firearms and military equipment manufacturer, founded in 2790 by Nathaniel Lukenmark and Mathias P.L. Stoneleigh as Redbrook Tooling Corporation. Based in the Oderra Capital Establishment since its founding, Redbrook Armoury originally manufactured precision parts and tooling for industrial machinery. It began producing firearms as a result of the newly founded Oderran Confederation's military requirements for a modern arsenal and has become the Oderran Commonwealth's primary arms manufacturer, producing small arms, vehicle weaponry as well as military materiel.
History
The origins of Redbrook Armoury began with the founding of the Redbrook Tooling Corporation by two former EVG employees, Nathaniel Lukenmark and Mathias P.L Stoneleigh, who had left its small arms division to start their own company in the promising Andromeda territories. The company initially manufactured tooling for machinery and precision components for industrial devices such as mining drills and chemical extractors.
When the newly proclaimed Oderran Confederation proposed a tender for a new arsenal of firearms for the Oderran Terrestial Forces, the company took the opportunity to expand their business. Drawing on their experience from EVG, Lukenmark and Stoneleigh designed the RAM-1 battle rifle and RAM-2 pistol, which were based off early prototypes developed at EVG. The Oderran government selected Redbrook Tooling's designs in 2801, accepting the RA-1 and RA-2 as the Mk 207 and Mk 101 service rifle and pistol respectively. In the same year, Redbrook Tooling was renamed to Redbrook Armoury, committing itself solely to firearms production.
