In Lavaria, a region (Lavish: Região) is a first-level political division that upholds a certain legislative autonomy to elect representants and determined executive and administrative affairs. There are 8 regions in Lavaria, of which two are granted the special status of autonomous.
The current structure of the Lavish regions were determined by the constitution of 1945. The Article number 4 recognizes and grants the right of autonomy of the regions that integrates the country. The segment of the constitution generally establishes the levels of autonomy that each region holds, as well those matters that corresponds exclusively to the State.
