The Kingdom of Reynland, Lothan, Yalen, and Clyde, more commonly called the Kingdom of Reynland, is a personal union of four sovereign Kingdoms located in the Northwestern part of !Europe in the world of Verthandi. All four Kingdoms are semi-constitutional monarchies, each ruled by the same Monarch, although each Kingdom has their own separate governments. The current Monarch is Edmund VI of the House of Weston. Each Kingdom has their own capital, with Lothan having Eastweld, Yalen having Carlin, and Clyde having Aberton. However, the capital of the personal union and seat of the Monarch is Greenwhich, capital city of Reynalnd and the largest city in the Four Kingdoms. Each of the Four Kingdoms have various cultures and traditions, but the Four Kingdoms are known for being largely independent and are known for their powerful aristocracy. The Four Kingdoms are decentralized, with the Aristocracy being able to field their own soldiers and acting as local administrators. In addition, only the Nobles can participate in the governance of the Kingdom.
