Enerisal or Enerisalistan (Enerisalani: Enërizalostun), officially the Republic of Enerisal (Farokandi: Rézpublika Enerisalani; Enerisalani: Ralzpubili Enërizalor) is a federal republic of Farokand. It is located at the northern tip of Ülsomm Fara, and contains the northernmost point of Farokand and Dulmara. With a population of 29,893,045, it is the 4th-most populous federal republic. Enerisal is bordered by the republics of Okulabad to the east and Kandi to the south, with Nusomm directly off of its western coast and the Gargiliyek Islands of Murokar off of its southern coast. The capital city of the federal republic is Enerisal, a commercial hub and a major port. Other major cities in the republic include Okurran, Orakon, Erža, and Podavil Mik.

Originally settled by the Borfusan tribes of the Dumyk and Markelyi, the area of Enerisal was the site of the ancient Borfusan chiefdom of Haldkiberu. The territory of this kingdom was the first region to be conquered by the Malthasvars during the Malthasvarian migration of the 4th century BCE. The modern city of Enerisal was founded by the Malthasvars near the Borfusan village of Mekint, making it the oldest continually-inhabited settlement in Farokand. The strategic positioning of Enerisal led it to become a major city in ancient times, controlling the trade routes of the North Dulmara Ocean. In modern-day Enerisal republic, two of the first Malthasvarian kingdoms in Dulmara were established: the Kingdom of Manizak and the Kingdom of Erža. Eventually, the Kingdom of Manizak absorbed several smaller monarchies to become the Six Crowns of Manizak, a confederation of kingdoms united under the House of Gollik. In 326, Tana, the princess of Zukormo, led an army to conquer Manizak, disestablishing the Six Crowns and, upon her success, installing an elective monarchy based out of Enerisal. This ultimately established the Kingdom of Enerisal.

The Kingdom of Enerisal grew to become a massive trade power in the Farokandi Archipelago. It was one of the great Four Kingdoms of Eastern Dulmara, known for its economic and military might. After conquering the Kingdom of Erža and the city-states of Orakon and Öris, Enerisal entered a fierce rivalry with Pundann, a growing trade power. This rivalry culminated in the Enerisalani-Pundanni wars of the 12th century, in which Enerisal annexed the islands of Nusomm and Posavkaz and reinforced its hegemony over the northern trade routes. However, as the Kingdom of Kandi and Kingdom of Faroi grew to the south, Enerisal lost this hegemony, especially as Kulanthir slipped into the Kulanthirian Dark Ages. In one last attempt to restore control, Enerisal invaded the Nursaimi principalities. However, Faroi came to the aid of the principalities and defeated Enerisal, sealing the fate of the Enerisalani trade empire. With Faroi's rapidly growing power following the Kazarese Wars, the other major powers of the archipelago began to align closer to each other, particularly Enerisal and Kandi. This led to the two kingdoms forming a personal union with the Acts of Union in 1298. However, in 1347, an esteemed Enerisalani army commander, Ari Birva, fearing that Kandi would bring Enerisal into a war with Faroi, severed the personal union, assassinated Queen Itari III of Kandi, and laid siege to Iro Isal. This began the Kandu-Enerisalani War. This war was a failure for Enerisal, and the Treaty of Iro Isal dictated that the Kingdom of Enerisal would be annexed completely by the Kingdom of Kandi.

Enerisal would remain part of Kandi for centuries, long past even the unification of Farokand. Under the Kandu and later Farokandi regime, Enerisal would be brought back to its former economic glory, as trade with Kulanthir renewed. The city of Enerisal became the headquarters of the Farokandi Navy and one of the world's busiest ports. It even earned the nickname "The Third Capital of Farokand" due to its importance. Significant integration with Kandi coupled with the enticing prosperity of the region led to migration to the area from both within Farokand and out. This had the side effect of considerable destruction of the Enerisalani culture and identity. Administratively, the Enerisalani language was replaced by the Kandu language; with Kandu even replacing Enerisalani in colloquial conversation in some places. This cultural assimilation was only halted in 2014, with the establishment of the system of federal republics in Farokand, which reinstated Enerisalani as an official language of the area and subsidised the revival of Enerisalani identity.
