The Rezese Armed Forces are the military forces of the Noble Republic of Sante Reze, and consist of multiple professional uniformed services split between national service and House service, as well as a provincial service specifically for the Nine Cousins. Management of the Rezese Armed Forces is found within the Korik ti Tsaro Populeris, but may be overridden by the Nongove tei Dez and the Korik Signorun. With a combined strength of over 2.1 million personnel, it is one of the largest military forces in the world, as well as maintaining one of the largest defense budgets.

Overview
Kabinyun
Taking a role similar to gendarmerie or carabinieri in other nations, as well as border and coast guard patrols, the kabinyun is a large force that administrates most of the external and internal security needs of the Noble Republic. It reports directly to the Korik ti Tsaro Populeris and takes over management of Kondadere forces as necessary when conflict erupts. It is also responsible for monitoring any independent actions taken by Kondadere military units and may step in to halt any action should it choose to do so.
The Kabinyun is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Sante Reze's land borders, as well as the domestic peace and, at the provincial level, fire-response teams. It is the largest single military organization in the country.
Kondadere
The kondadere are the standing military forces provided by and paid for directly by the Houses Paramount. While historically these were regarded as mercenary armies, they have been incorporated as a significant part of the larger body of soldiery provided to Rezese national defense. The Kondadere maintain their own army, naval, and aerospace units, though not as the same level of either size or sophistication as those of the Kabinyun.
Each House Paramount is expected to field a force within a specific range of manpower and overall technical strength. This range is decided by numerous factors and may be neither exceeded nor undercut. Certain technologies and units are also restricted and may not be maintained by a House Paramount nor any of its subsidiary houses (ex. aircraft carriers are barred from private service regardless of a House's ability to construct and sail one). The range is adjusted every five years on average, though there is no requirement for how often this can or must be done. Additionally, restrictions on House service are continually added to or modified as new technologies become available and costs of fielding change.
Scipia Council of Public Safety
The Scipia Council of Public Safety operates two forces for itself which largely operate independently unless there is an imminent threat on national security. These organizations are the Olope Qipie and the Itanna. They are barred from any service abroad unless administered directly by the KTP.

Rezese Republican Army Corps
When mobilized, the Rezese Republican Army Corps consists of all land-based forces within the Kabinyun, Kondadere, and those provided by the Scipia Council of Public Safety. In its peace-time form it consists of Kabinyun forces primarily geared toward border defense and internal policing, as well as managing the provincial firefighting services.
The Naval Corps represents the largest investment by the Noble Republican government in military affairs, and is primarily composed of Kabinyun forces as they make up the majority of the fleet. The kondadere and Scipia Council of Public Safety do provide additional manpower and small flotillas, but the core of Rezese naval strength comes from its five carrier groups as well as its submarine groups, all of which are directly administered by the Kabinyun.
The Naval Corps is responsible for coastal border security and defense of shipping lanes in and around Rezese territorial waters, and maintains active groups tasked with the interception of smugglers and pirates.
