Richtersberg is a city, located in western Besmenia. It is the capital of the Besmenian state of Greuningia, and with a population of 905,532 the biggest city in Greuningia and the sixth biggest in Besmenia.
As the seat of the state government of Greuningia and the State Chamber of Greuningia as well as numerous state authorities, the city is the political center of Greuningia. In addition, important educational and cultural institutions of the federal state are concentrated here.
