The Royal Zalluabed Air Force is the aerial arm of the Royal Zalluabed Defense Forces and one of the five service branches of the Ministry of Defense of Zalluabed. The Air Force is responsible for all airborne defence missions and operates all military aircraft, including those used in support of the Royal Zalluabed Army, Royal Zalluabed Navy and the Royal Zalluabed Marine Force. The RZAF is headed by an air marshal (lieutenant general equivalent). Currently, the commander of the Royal Zalluabed Air Force is Air Marshal Luqmaan el-Hamidi.

The EAF primary role is the air defense of the nation, with secondary tasks of strike and army support operations. The RZAF provides official government transport and carries out international search-and- rescue operations. The main fighter aircraft of the RZAF are the IL5-Nightjar and IL9-Ibis.
