The Royal and Imperial Quenminese Armed Forces (Quenminese: Lực lượng Vũ trang Hoàng gia và Hoàng gia Quến Minh) is Quenmin's military force.
The Armed Forces was formed on 17 February 1860 as the Imperial Quenminese Armed Forces. As per his reforms, Emperor Bảo Thịnh desired for a more westernized military to prevent future attempts at colonization by foreign powers; despite his army adapting western technology and tactics, he felt further need to transform it into an effective modern fighting force. It has then fought with relative success in conflicts such as Kholmatzhon's Rebellion, the Bactieuan Wars, the Aichi War and the Siduri War. In 1945, the military force was renamed the "Royal and Imperial Quenminese Armed Forces," and it underwent a change of strategy and tactics, such as an emphasis on offensive attacks; the name change serves as a reminder of the post-Golden Nation Era reforms. It then went on to fight in the Paywan Rebellion and the Rice and Oil War. In the contemporary era, the Armed Forces remains one of Tyran's effective militaries with one of the largest active and reserve personnel.
The Armed Forces consists of six branches, each designated as a "Force." They are the Ground Force, Oceanic Force, Air Force, Coastal Defence Force, Civil Defence Force and the Cybernetic Operations and Defense Force.
