Samuel Hasan Divian (born October 22nd, 1985) is a Zamastanian-Haduastani journalist, writer, producer, political commentator, and television host who is most known for his show Divian Prime Time on ZNN. In 2018, he was the most-watched news anchor in the world, and in 2021 was the second-most watched after fellow ZNN anchor Aiden Reventon. His work has earned him multiple awards in both television and journalism fields.
Divian was born in Delta, Zian Province, to Haduastani Muslim parents who immigrated from Lalkot. Divian attended the University of Tofino, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. In 2007, he worked as a correspondent for the Tofino Times, covering stories mostly of political and international relations. In 2011, he was hired by ZNN to co-anchor Harris and Divian 360 which covered Zamastanian politics on a nightly basis. In 2015, he was given his own timeslot with Divian Prime Time and quickly became one of the country's most-watched journalists.
Early Life
Divian was born in Delta, Zian Province, to Haduastani Muslim parents who immigrated from Lalkot. After his birth, he and his father, an organic chemist, remained in Zamastan while his mother returned to Haduastan for eight years to complete medical school, visiting Zamastan after three years to give birth to his sister in 1989. He attended Brooke Senior High School, graduating in 2003. Divian then attended the University of Tofino, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2007.
