Saori Suzushiro (14 May 1991) is a Agakibanese soldier currently serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service Corps part of the Austrakiba Self Defence Force. She is assigned as head of the communications service within the ATS. She and her friend Akino Terai served in the ATS throughout their years of service. Saori had also helped Akino to be with Richard on many occasions while realizing that she's in love with him. When not in active duty, She is a member of a forces' sweetheart girl group TRI-G
Early Life
She was born in Auckland in Agakiba to a honorable discharged sergeant and a maid at a cafe. She grew up to be a very disciplined child. Her family moved to Lucis when she was only 5. She attended the Royal University of St. Georgius in Lucis with a degree in Psychology. During her time in the university, She was secluded and She was mostly quiet about her personal life. She however, deeply cares about the people the she held dear.
She returned to Agakiba to further enhance her studies. When she graduated, She met Akino Terai during her visit to the King's Military College of Norrington and here, The two would develop a very close bond.

She returned to New Akiba and enlisted in the Auxiliary Territorial Service Corps.
Years later, she returned to New Akiba to assist in the next task of visit Zanarkand. Along with her friend, Akino; They met Richard Philip Todd and it was Saori that helped Akino and Richard to be together. Saori was fully supportive even to the point that Richard and Akino be wedded but none of it ever came out. Today, She continues helping Akino to get Richard even after Richard was already married.
As she speaks to Richard for Akino, She soon learns of how Richard's heart is pure and that his love for only one woman will make her do anything to make him happy but her friend's feelings only kept her from doing so and her feelings for him never reached to that point and Saori never told anyone about her feelings for Richard and none ever came out. Currently, Saori sees Richard as a good friend while helping Akino and Richard to be together but Richard made a promise to Saori that once they settle in Melbourne, She can live with him whenever she wants to which she agreed.
Personal life
She used to be a rival of Akino for Richard's affections until she sees that Akino felt more love for him that she did. She eventually agreed to remain close friends with Richard but currently lives with him as their daughter's godmother and second parental figure.
