Seon Myung-dae (May 16, 1989) is a female officer in the Joyonghen Sovereign Army. She is currently serving as a Division General commanding the 18th Infantry Division.
Early Life
Myung-dae was born to Division General Seon Jong-cheol and Colonel Park In-sook, both of whom have grandparents that survived the Third Joyonghean-Quenminese War. She, overall, did well on her education, elementary and high school. She was even well-liked by her classmates, except by her bullies. Also, she loved Nihonjin anime and her free time was mostly based on watching them.
In the age of eighteen, she attended the Hyesan Military Institute. It was under the request of her father, since he was of military background. Being sucessful in her class, she graduated as a Captain.
Service in the Joyonghean Sovereign Army
Assigned as a Captain, she was placed in command of the 312th Infantry Regiment.
She then participated in the joint Joyonghean-Quenminese military exercise in 2008; the intended purpose of the excerise is for when Lorica intends to invade one of their lands. She, along with her friends, Ryuk Chang-min, Janggok Seung-ah and Hyeong Dong-chul,developed a great relationship with fellow Quenminese officers, like Võ Phuoc Thắng, Thiếu Văn Dạt, and Bernice Cu. Another friend, Jo Eun-kyung, was the only exception.
By 2011, she was promoted to Division General and was given the command of the 18th Infantry Division.

Imperial Crisis
Interwar Years
In the years following the Imperial Crisis, The Interwar Years between 2021 and 2025 was a turbulent time for Myung-dae and her family. She and Richard returned to Zanarkand and immediately focused on their family's life. The crisis had a big impact on the family as they nearly lost so much money in the process and their restaurant had to close down. However, Richard came up with a business to sell premium-flavored ice cream that he had been making during his time in Bai Bien Ngao. The ice cream flavors were a hit that included Sake, Matcha, Red Wine and other exotic flavors. This move saved their family from poverty and that they were back in their usual life in mid-2022. Myung-dae also had grown her hair to her shoulders as time passed and She no longer possessed the bob cut She had before but still had her cute and youthful appearance She had before She and Richard married.
They reunited with their old comrades to pursue other projects that included doing videos, films, promotions and other exploits in Endelmann Pictures, an Allied-funded film production company that produced her first film with her husband and friends, Flower Ring, which was the first movie that used military personnel and became a huge success. The couple enjoyed an easier life in 2023 to 2025. Their stepdaughter, Yuno was enrolled in Melbourne University and Myung-dae gave birth to two more children.

Personal Life and Relationship with Richard
She met Richard Philip Todd during the Commonwealth visit to Joyonghea to celebrate the end of the war there. The two had developed a mutual attraction for each other since the third day of the Joyonghean visit. The two soon had fallen for each other and eventually Richard wanted to take her to Zanarkand with him. She also found out that Richard loved Nihonjin anime and manga. There was two incidents where Myung-dae had actually cosplayed. The first was accidental as she was dragged into a cosplay contest between Taletha Tsukimi and Teletha Testarossa. The second was when she tried to show off and impress Richard with it. Richard remarked that it was the cutest sight that he had ever seen in his life.
However, Myung-dae's commanding officer did not permit her to go to Zanarkand with him and Richard spoke with the Emperor who knew that Myung-dae was the only girl that could make Richard's life happy and had agreed for Myung-dae to leave with him and had decided to play along with Richard's plan to have Myung-dae into Zanarkand.
On the day of the departure, Myung-dae was hidden inside a cart without her commander even noticing it and she boarded up the plane bound for Zanarkand. The two were married as soon as they returned to Zanarkand in a Catholic Service in Brisbane with guests that included the King and Queen, Prime Ministress Yuna, and other Zanarkian commanders. His best friend, Klankain Auchinleck IV served as his best man. The couple currently reside in Melbourne with one baby boy.
