The Severny (Slabadic: Սեվերնյ) are an ethnic group who speak the Slabadic language. They are primarily the descendents of fur traders and merchants who were expelled from Bolshtinia because of their religion, Starovery, which had traditionally been the dominant faith of the Imian peoples before the 1300s Militant religious order in Bolshtinia incident, though the group have widely interbred with Samogan peoples and Keranic peoples and the group is therefore internally diverse. The Severny are the majority group within Pelemia, where most Severny live, but there are significant populations of Severny in X, Y, and Z countries.
