Shane Griff
Shane Griff (born 19 November 1983) is a Fichmani politician serving as the current Prime Minister of Fichmanistan and leader of the Socialist Party since January 2022. He was minister for health from 2021 to 2022 and County Assemblyman of Hejim from 2016 to 2020. Griff has been a member of the house of parliament (MHP) for Hejim since 2020.

Griff began his political career in 2011 at the age of 28 by running for County Assembly for Hejim. Although he lost the election to CNP candidate Kevin Walker, he made a name for himself as a far left leaning liberal with unusual hair. In 2013, Griff launched an online blogsite for fellow socialist and communist politicians and aspiring politicians. Griff's blog went viral in 105 for Griff's blog "CNP:Fascism by another name". Griff ran successfully for CA of Hejim in 2016. During his time in the County Assembly, Griff made alliances with other far left liberals in county assembly's across the country as well as MHP's. One of these alliances was with MHP Malcolm Cavanah, a rising star within the national liberal party. Griff won a seat in the parliament with the help of Cavanah in the 2020 election. Over the next year Griff consistently voted in both votes of parliament and votes within the liberal party in favour of Cavanah. When the Liberal party won the 2021 snap election, many expected Griff to be made minister for forign affairs and deputy prime minister. Instead Jack Leighton was appointed to this position because of Griff's "Lack of experience". Griff is thought to be the person responsible for the coup d'etat within the socialist party that saw Malcolm Cavanah unseated as prime minister. Griff was voted in as leader of the socialist party on the 17 January 2022 and became prime minister on January 18th.
