The Social Credit Party of Txotai (Namorese: Тщотаи Даангсохоикунгсин tr. Txotai Daangsohoikungsin Luziycan: Partiya i Sociala Kredita i Zotay), often known by its syllabic abbreviation Socreds (Сосин) is a small political party in the Autonomous Republic of Txotai.
It professes to follow social credit, a theory which developed in First Republic of Oteki-era Txotai and is credited with bringing prosperity to the region up until the onset of the Great Depression. However, the modern Socreds are not related to the party of the same name that dominated politics during the First Republic.
The Socreds are socially and fiscally conservative. On issues pertaining to Txotai's relations with the Namorese central government, the party is staunchly pro-Autonomy and opposes large-scale reliance on central government projects and programs such as Common Medical Care System, arguing that as residents of an autonomous republic, Txotai's taxpayers should see their taxes go to projects that benefit Txotai rather than Namo. The Socreds have supported repealing Article 15 of the regional constitution as well as all laws passed in its name, calling them authoritarian and symptoms of big government. While the Socreds do not support Otekian independence, the party has called on both the national and regional governments to gradually accept separatists into society provided that separatists agree to peacefully express their views.
