The States' Rights Democratic Party (simply the "Democratic Party" in certain states), known colloquially as the Dixiecrat Party, is a far-right political party in the United States, founded in 1967 as a split from the Democratic Party. It is active only in the South and is a member of the Republican-led Conservative Coalition.
