The Taihago (Hoterallian: たいはご), frequently abbreviated to THG, is a progressive political faction in Hoterallia. It is one of the most recognisable political factions in Hoterallia, Taihago's declared mission is to pioneer "people-centred politics, a politics based on humanitarianism, that treats human life with the utmost respect and care".
The policies of the Taihago differed little from the policies of its predecessor before the Second Reunification War, with policies such as increasing diversity, contributing to world peace, preserving democracy, and promoting prosperity. They are considered to be open-minded in terms of international matters, with one member of the party saying that doing nothing would not be responsible. The THG, like its old predecessor, is neutral to nuclear power, with some members supporting the usage of nuclear power. The Taihago also wants to raise the minimum wage of Hoterallia and decreases the wealth gap.
