The Disputed States of America (or Divided States of America, Dissolution of the United States) refers to the region and series of events which caused the dissolution of the United States of America.

History

On March 28, 1979 the Three Mile Island accident occurred, and on March 29, 1979, elevated to a complete meltdown, spewing radioactive contaminants into the air, mostly eastward. President Jimmy Carter was yet to release a statement by the following week, being under radiation poisoning due to poor evacuation. Vice President (Now leader of the Remaining Western States of America) Walter Mondale, along with most of the Supreme Court, Congress, and House of Representatives, was relocated to San Francisco by March 30th 1979, which was promptly declared the emergency capital of the United States.
