The Type 36 destroyer, also known as the H and I-class, or the Hoarfrost and Illuminatory class, is a class of guided missile destroyers built for and in commission in the Royal Illuverendian Navy. The class is the newest state-of-the-art Illuverendian naval warship, deprecating the older Stratocratic Era vintage Type 32 destroyers and Type 33 destroyers. All destroyers are built by the Alliance of Illuverendian Shipyards across the country, having all 16 built. 10 have been ordered by the Royal Tierdzan Navy as part of their reorganisation plan, using a modified variant of the Type 36 destroyer, named the Zygmunt class.
The Type 36 was conceived as the evolution of the Type 33 destroyers, although with a much more robust design, trimmed dimensions, and the use of the experimental V1054 AESA and V2062 long-range radar.
