The monarchy of Angvar (Angvarian: Ongvotar-Ashlargdorkûz agh Mâghanashi), constitutionally referred to as the Crown (Angvarian: Khârakh), is the autocratic office by which a hereditary sovereign rules as supreme head of state and head of government over all Angvar. According to Angvarian esoteric political theory, the Angvarian sovereign is perceived as a thearch and universal cosmocrat. The current monarch is Katharina II, who ascended the throne upon the death of her husband, Charles IV on 30 January 2016.
