Mod Action - Notice of Plagiarized Content
Hello,
It has been brought to our attention that a number of your articles use content directly taken from Wikipedia. IIWiki has strict rules against plagiarism, and this usage is in violation of IIWiki's Standards and Conventions, specifically the Convention on Plagiarism. The following articles have been marked as in violation:
- Flag of Italy (plagiarized from Wikipedia:Flag_of_Italy)
- Prostitution in the Kingdom of Italy (parts plagiarized from Wikipedia:Prostitution_in_Italy)
- Principality of Eritrea (Kingdom of Italy) (parts plagiarized from Wikipedia:Eritrea)
- Politics of the Kingdom of Italy (parts plagiarized from Wikipedia:Politics_of_China and Wikipedia:Politics_of_France)
- National Security Council (Kingdom of Italy) (parts plagiarized from Wikipedia:United States National Security Council)
- National_Defence_Commission_(Kingdom_of_Italy) (parts plagiarized from Wikipedia:Central Military Commission (China)
While we allow and often encourage drawing inspiration from Wikipedia articles, the copy/pasting of content that is not your own is against the site rules. This includes content that has been only slightly modified, such as by removing citations, changing names, or otherwise editing it in ways that does not change the broad wording. We recommend users take the ideas of a source, and rewrite them in their own words such that they apply to their lore. If the Wikipedia page for a concept offers a better explanation than what could be posted on the site, users are welcome to use the [[Wikipedia:PAGE]] tag to link directly to Wikipedia.
Please make changes to the listed articles, and any others which may contain plagiarized content, to bring them in line with IIWiki's Standards and Conventions. Failure to do so in a timely manner will result in deletion of articles and moderative action.
If you have any questions, please let me know on my talk page.
