Utrusha Mikhonjeekar is the current Chairperson of the Executive Council and the former two time Governor of the State of Ureyssal. Mikhonjeekar is a trained singer in the classical Ureya folk music and had a long career as a folk performer on both the national and international stage. She was known for her powerful bass voice which allowed her to sing in a range not typical for women singers. She has even been a playback singer for several Ureya feature films and has lent her voice to many animated movies and audiobooks.
Early Life
Utrusha was born in the mining city of Varakela to Angeh and Rishaja Mikhonjeekar. She was described as a bright kid by her school teachers, but right from the beginning she was quite interested in the performing arts. She started singing from a very early age, and had her first solo performance at the age of 10 when she played the protagonist in the school drama of "Mayart's Flute" where she sang an famous aria.
She was an active participant in several school plays and choir performances. Her school music teacher inspired her to follow classical Ureya music, despite her having a deep-set voice, which wasn't common in Ureya music.
By the time she reached High School, she started performing in Cafes during summer breaks to earn extra money for herself.
