Valaiha Salxirin (born 15 August 1970) is a Trellinese diplomat and the current Ambassador to Nikolia for the Sidereal Crown.
Salxirin was born in Luqarn, Pelna. She was a member of the Pelnan Progressive Party and was active in its youth branch while attending university at the Comital College at Radulin. She subsequently earned a master's degree at the Pelnan Academy of Political Science. Between 2009 and 2011 she served as Junior Director in the Pelnan Education Office and lobbied for the expansion of the MSWEA into Saheri and Retikh; Saheri is now a candidate province for the MSWEA.
Salxirin was recommended for a diplomatic career in 2011. She joined the imperial diplomatic service in November of that year and served with the Cadenzan embassy to the Blackhelm Confederacy as chargé d'affaires between 2012 and 2014. She was appointed to the embassy in Nikolia in March 2014, when Trellin exited isolation, and continues in that post.
