Werfareich [wɪəfaˈraɪh], officially the Imperial Commonwealth of Werfareich (Werfish: Kaiserlicher Staatenbund Werfareich [kai`zalihe ∫ta:tnbunt wɪəfaˈraɪh]) is a sovereign state located in three parts of Ersetum: the western part of the country in Eastern Kyrazanium (Werfish: Östliches Kyrasanium), the southern one in Manchakk (Werfish: Manntschachen), and the northern one in Kaurikia (Werfish: Keurikien). It is bound to the south by Merea, also, in the south, washed by the Stateira Sea (Werfish: Ztateyrisches Meer). Stolzenburg is the country's capital and the most populous city is the main cultural and economic centre of Werfareich; other major cities and urban areas include Branitz, Kleinzschachwitz, Lauterberg, Rabenholz, Lammersdorfen, Pfalzel and Ganzig.
The Werfareich Empire is a federal parliamentary constitutional dual monarchy. Werfareich is a federation of kingdoms, archduchies, grand duchies, duchies and principalities. The ruler of the Empire is the Monarch, who was elected by the Council of Electors, consisting of the heads of state that were part of the Empire, who were given the right and the title of Kurfürst (207 BSC - 106 GSC). In 106 GSC, in exchange for the preservation and guarantees of feudal property from the Emperor to the nobility and clergy, the Electors relinquished the right to choose the Monarch, and transferred all rights to the Imperial Throne with the right of succession to Emperor Otto II, Archduke of Vorderschloß. Monarch since 170 GSC is Empress Stephanie I von Schwarzenbach (full name: Stefanie Wilhelmine Isabelle Victoria von Schwarzenbach und von Heidler. The monarch is formally limited by the Reichstag, a bicameral legislature, however, in reality, the constitution and parliament do not restrict the Monarch much in the affairs of state administration. The monarch personally appoints and controls the government headed by the Reich Chancellor, who is Adam Georg von Schinkel since 190, in the Bürgerrat the ruling coalition is built around the National Unity Party, a party loyal to the Empress, and in the Bundesrat, the council of representatives of all imperial lands, the Archduchy of Vorderschloß has the largest number places, and the voice of the Monarch is decisive. Thus, the Monarch's power in Werfareich is weakly limited, and almost absolute.
The State Religion in the Empire is the Romehnen Church or Romayn. Romayn is a religion based on ancient legends and epics of Aahrenmanian and Lugund cultures, as well as on the Eckermann teaching "On the Creation of the World and the Origin of Man" (about 488 BSC). Romehnen is positioned by its followers as "the religion of farmers." Such cults are also often called chthonic. This means that Romehnen first of all singles out earthly values, priority and respect is given to the woman, the goddesses. In addition, Romayn gives priority to the sanctity of material nature, the Earth, therefore transcendence - heaven - loses its exceptional importance, although it does not completely lose it. Romayn is a religion that develops national art. Participants in Romayn rituals become not observers, but participants - they must sing, dance, make ritual paraphernalia, and actively take part in rituals. Romehnen is a religion of dance, music, craft.
The strong and thriving economy of Werfareich is based on tourism, the development and sale of information technology, the cultivation and export of agricultural and dairy products, and the export of services. Private manufacturing enterprises, as well as big business, are very developed. Government grants are aimed at helping and supporting small and medium-sized businesses, as well as start-up businesses. All arms production, which is also an important part of the economy, is entirely concentrated in state-owned enterprises. However, the scarce resource base is enough only to cover domestic needs. The monetary unit is the Reichsmark (ℳ).
The state language is Werfish.
Etymology
According to the classical theory, made on the basis of archaeological finds, the word "Werfareich" is a hydronym and derives from the ancient Werfish name of the river Werfau, meaning "stormy" or "fast," as evidenced by excavations at the site where the Aarenman and Lugund tribes once lived in Leupolz.
The word "Werfareich", according to some etymologists, comes from the ancient Werfish, and means "State of warriors". According to this theory, the word "Werfareich" itself came from another culture, presumably from the Koyan or Merean, when the tribes of modern Werfians migrated from the far north, they passed near the borders of the Great Koya, and a large number of warriors created the impression among the Koyans about universal military service in the tribes.
According to another, less common, version, the word Werfaraich is a misspelled word "wafer" - a traditional dish of the Werfareich cuisine. Werfish is the word "Oblate", in the Merean language it is called "wafer". It is believed that the first merchants from Merea who brought a previously unknown product to their homeland gave it the name "wafer". From this theory, it turns out that Werfareich is the "land of the wafer". But this theory was recognized as untenable due to the fact that no direct evidence in favor of this theory was found.
In relation to the inhabitants of Werfareich, the term Werfians is commonly used.
