The West Ainin Independence Movement (French: Movement pour l'indépendence de l'Ainin Occidentale, Mespalian: Lændenmân independanccilicuma) is a political party that advocates the withdrawal of the province of West Ainin from the Aininian Republic. Born out of opposition to the centralisation of power in Huimont by the central government, it quickly formed the province's government in 1980 and continued playing a major role in provincial politics until an armed insurgency in the province in 1993 harmed its prestige. It went into a decline and dissolved in 2004 after failing to enter a registration deposit with the Elections Commission.
The second iteration was founded in 2009 over growing discontent with the decade-long social democratic rule in Ainin and quickly overtook the Progressive Conservatives to form the province's government. They advocate for a referendum on the West Aininian nation question.
It is described as solidly right-wing on the political spectrum and has been criticised for its use of ethnic nationalism in its campaigns.
