Wolfsangel Squadron, officially the 9th Tactical Fighter Squadron is an elite squadron under the Aerial Special Operations Command unit of the Kiez Air Force. Initially founded in response to the Grey Wolf Crisis that took place early May of 1981, the purpose of Wolfsangel Squadron transitioned from the standard duties of a fighter squadron to that of a special operations unit capable of high-risk, high-intensity operations. The squadron earned its name in due part to its participation in the Grey Wolf Crisis and is reputed for having taken down The Wolf Pack, an elite squadron of Insurgency pilots that became notorious for the extraordinary skill of its members'.

Wolfsangel Squadron has seen additional activity during the Summer War in 2016 and has just recently been deployed to the Demitorian Strait alongside the 3rd Fleet in the opening hours of the Demitorian Strait Conflict.
