Yorgos Gorceski (Born August 28, 1965) is a Syaran former general best known for commanding XI Corps during the Zemplen War.

An ethnic Makedonian, Gorceski fought for the Wardens during the Refusal War. In 1988 he was comissioned into the Syaran National Army as a Captain, and by 2003 had reached the rank of Colonel. In 2006 he was given command of the 52nd Mechanized Infantry Division. Following the outbreak of the Zemplen War, the 52nd Mechanized Infantry Division was assigned to XI Corps to take part in the August Offensive. Gorceski proceeded to lead the 52nd through Operation Aspis as part of Army Group Beta. During the Ruvelkan Winter Counter-Offensive Gorceski succesfully halted the Ruvelkan advance in his division's sector, and his performance as divisional commander was rewarded with a promotion to Lt. General and command of XI Corps. In March 2009 XI Corps formed the southern flank of Syaran forces during the Battle of Sagerejo. After weeks of intense fighting XI Corps broke through Ruvelkan lines and rolled up the rest of the Ruvelkan defenses, capturing the city. Halted by the Kurilla Mountains, Gorceski spend much of the of the war parrying Ruvelkan counter-attacks. During Operation Homefront Gorceski and XI fought a desparate rearguard action to allow the rest of 6th Army to retreat, which cost the corps most of it's combat power by the end of the war. Gorceski retired from the Syaran army in 2015.

Popular among his troops for his winning attitude, Gorceski was less well recieved among his peers whom considered him confrontational and difficult to work with. Gorceski's leadership during the costly fighting around Sagerejo, and the breakthrough achieved by his forces, recieved praise from many Syaran observors, as did his performance during the Syaran retreat from Ruvelka in the summer of 2010.
