Zatarai are a species of sentient reptilian humanoids native to Zatroth and found widely throughout the galaxy. Their ancient kingdom at the center of the galaxy in orbit of Solymus was a slaver empire which came into conflict with the early Galactic Union in the Core War. The Zatarai and their Zatroth Alliance were defeated and absorbed into the Union, and their practice of slavery ended. Zatarai are defined by their jagged skin, head crests, gleaning eyes, and many headtrails.
