Corkees, officially the Crown State of Corkees, is a federal state bordering only North of Leucen in the south. With a population of 2.74 million; it is the 18th-most populous state and the 18th-densely populated. With an area of 25,009 km2 (9,656 sq mi), it is the 7th-largest state by area. Its capital, Port Nethania, is the northernmost state capital in Chatten and Leucen. Human development concentrates along its western coasts, with their primary industry revolving around fishing and aquaculture. The state is defined by the eastern part of the Broken Amarincen Mountains, which terminates at High Tip, the northernmost point of the state. The Kilometer Ring, a huge crater near the coasts of Corkees and North of Leucen, houses a geographical feature called The Abyss, whose depth is yet to be measured but has already surpassed 15 km and counting, making it the deepest point in the world. Abyssal Cone, the island where the Abyss sits in, houses a scientific and industrial settlement called Cone Town, with shared administratorship between the Ministry of Science and Technology.
