North Chatten (Leucish: Norys Chatten), officially known as the Crown State of North Chatten, is a federal state bordering West Chatten to the south-west, East Chatten to the south, and Rustav to the east. With a population of 3.524 million; it is the 14th-most populous state and the 9th-densely populated. With an area of 19,111 km2 (7,379 sq mi), it is the 20th-largest state by area. Its capital, Camduran, is the historic capital of the Kingdom of Duran. Strategically located near the Crowergynn Sea, it harbors several military installations under the Chalcish Armed Forces. Two of the world's largest arms manufacturers, Hojov Corporation and Nicorini Industries, is headquartered in Camduran. Its southern border with West Chatten is dominated by the Eastern Chattenian Range and the River Danzyr. Most of human development resides near the coasts, with a select few revolving around military bases. The state's outlying islands, namely: Dale, Royeaus, Monvahuir, Varhall, Lademenn, and Crow, constitutes the Six Islands National Park; one of the most popular parks in the Kingdom.
