New Judsi is a state of Cylata, located in the southernmost part of the country, sharing borders with Constantio to the south, Syraranto to the east, and Cechena to the west. Prior to becoming a state, the National Republic of New Judsi was a nation located on the continent of Nortua. It was first formed with the merger of the Judsi kingdoms in 700 AD, but fell under the conquest of the Constantio Empire in 1597. Following the Chezian Wars of Independence (1806-23), Judsi became an independent state in 1826 with the dissolution of the empire. It existed as a sovereign state for 94 years, but economic hardship and internal conflict plagued the country throughout its existence. In 1920, New Judsi's government collapsed following an attempted coup by former-Constantioan general Christos Stanides, and a military intervention by Cylata quelled the unrest and ultimately resulted in the annexation of Judsi into Cylata the following year.
