Nowa Łãka (lit. 'New Bay'; Weranic: Neuebucht) is a municipality in Ostry, with a population of 675, making it the smallest municipality on the island. It is located just south of the capital of Eriksztadt, on the southern leeward side of the island.
History
Nowa Łãka was founded by Weranic settlers in 1903 under the guise of creating "the ideal Weranic community", and until 1912 barred "those native to the island of Ostry" from purchasing property within its boundaries.
