Witterites (Witterite: Minderheit) are an ethnoreligious group associated with Witterism, a radical Amendist movement spurred on by the revelations of Pastor Jakob Witter and his wife Maria. The religious movement emerged in the 16th century, in the region of Upper Cislania, before their general migration to the urban centres of modern Swetania. Most Witterites speak their own dialect of Weranian as their first language. (See more...)
