Ezekielism (Lemovician: Ⰵⰸⰵⰽⰹⰵⰾⰹⱄⰿⱁⰰ, Яінкоамаітасуна, Jainkoamaitasuna) was a sect of Sotirianity practiced in Lemovicia and its surrounding regions, and related to the Brethrens.
Etymology
The Lemovician name is Jainkoamaitasuna, meaning "love of God," as a contraction of the phrase "jainkoaren maitasuna."
History
Beliefs
Core tenets
Ezekielists believed that God had two children: the elder Michael, and the younger Satan, with Satan rebelling against God and creating the world and mankind, with Adam allowed to till the earth, so long as he remained loyal to Satan.
In order to bring piety to the world, God sent Michael down to Earth in the form of a man, Jesus Sotiras. While Sotiras made significant progress in bringing piety to the descendants of Adam, Satan caught wind of this, and crucified him. However, before Sotiras died, he told his son, Ezekiel, that as the job was not complete, while Jesus Sotiras would return to God, Ezekiel will continue to bring piety to the world.
