SpearCorp Solutions (known commonly as SpearCorp) is a Private Military Contractor based in Lundene, Brytene. The company is primarily composed of veterans and security analysts, and provides logistical support and security to a range of clients. They are owned by the House Canillac and Goldwing Finance.
History
Reynald Chatillon and Henry von Augsburg are two former Fleet personnel who went on to joint the ExecOps PMC. Following the closure of that firm, they set up their own company with a focus on providing expert security and logistical support to companies, governments, and individuals. They were engaged to provide personal security for the House Canillac in 1998, and following reliable service they were recommended to Goldwing Finance by their employer, Sir Arthur Canillac. They won the contract, meaning that most GF security personnel are in fact sub-contracted members of SpearCorp. They are an apolitical organisation, although their charter bans them from contracting for the perpetrators of, or engaging in the commission of, war crimes. Henry von Augsburg retired from the company following a motorbike accident in 2007, but still retains stock options and acts as an occasional consultant.
Formation
SpearCorp employs a staff of almost 10,000 personnel, including roughly 6,300 contractors and a network of nearly 2,400 administrative and support staff. Approximately 2,000 of their staff are contracted by Goldwing Finance at any one time, with another 300 on the payroll of the House Canillac, giving them a pool of 4,000 contractors to work on other tasks. SpearCorp contractors are employed on commission, on an as-needed basis, and are vetted before every operation to ensure they still meet SpearCorp standards.
Equipment and capabilities
SpearCorp is able to provide a range of services, including locational and transport security, logistical support, intelligence gathering and analysis, bodyguard services and arms deliveries. They are also rumoured to entertain targeted killing contracts and direct combat contracts, though this has not been proven and no mention of such is made in any of their press materials or internal literature.
SpearCorp personnel may bring their own equipment, provided it is legally registered and conforms to SpearCorp standards, but SpearCorp also maintains its own stockpile of weapons and materiel, and both Goldwing Finance and House Canillac also provide uniform equipment for their contractors. SpearCorp operates mostly light transport vehicles, including yachts, light armoured cars and transport helicopters. It currently has no MBTs or other heavy equipment on inventory.
