Gary Sanderson (5 August 1986) is a Zanarkian officer currently serving in the Zanarkian Army. Outside of his military career, he is a folk singer at his hometown at Hobart.
A classmate of fellow Task Force 141 members Richard Philip Todd and Klankain Auchinleck IV, Gary is often found alone singing on the rooftop of the main academy building. He was joined with his close friends Travis Henderson and Leon Tremblay, both of which are transferees from New Akiba and Rubrum respectively. They found their love of music and as a result, created a band. The band would later be known as Heartcloset. Gary acted as the lead vocal, Leon by guitar, and Travis with the drums. When going on a tour of duty, the three were often requested to sing to provide entertainment. It would not take long before they became recognised.
Although the three were offered a contract to be managed by a Talent company, they turned it down, citing that their work belongs to the field. Gary cites You and Me to be his favourite song, which was originally a poem that he had written during his days in the academy.
