The Landstadt building is the headquarters building for the Delamarian Department of Defence and the Delamarian Armed Forces, as well as the Commonwealth Guard, Office of Naval Intelligence, and the Delamarian Space Program. The building began construction in 1950, as a new headquarters for the War, Energy and Infrastructure Departments, however the War Department would be later split up, and reorganised into the Defence Department, and the Energy and Infrastructure Departments moved to inner Labrador.
