The Department of Defence (Lysian: Ministère de la Défense) is the department of the Government of Delamaria which supports and manages the Delamarian Armed Forces in its role of defending Delamarian national interests domestically and internationally. The Department of Defence is the largest department of the Government of Delamaria in terms of budget as well as staff, and it is the department with the largest number of buildings as well.
