Anti-Imperialism Day (Фантери, Fanteri) is a public holiday in Namor annually observed on the 25th of December. The day commemorates the recapture of Kusef by the Namorese Liberation Army, which marked the downfall of the Second Republic of Oteki and the end of the separatist rebellion in Txotai. The holiday coincides with Christmas, which is not recognized as a public holiday in Namor.
The capture of Kusef was perceived by the Namorese Liberationists as a major triumph over Luziycan imperialism. During its opening session, the 5th Central Council passed a resolution which declared December 25 to be "Anti-Imperialism Day." The resolution was signed into law by President-General Kiang Ssxu and received the support of Chairman Antelope Yunglang.
The first Anti-Imperialism Day was observed in December 25, NMR 2310, a year after Namorese troops captured Kusef. Ahead of the date, the government promoted Anti-Imperialism Day to the public. In an editorial, party mouthpiece The Liberator called on all Namorese to celebrate Anti-Imperialism Day instead of Christmas, which it accused of having "imperialist roots."
